To root your device use Kingoapp (http://www.kingoapp.com/)
Steps:
1 - Download and install Kingo app
2 - Enable debug mode and usb connect to the pc on the cs918
3 - Attach your media player to the PC via micro usb of cs918
4 - Run kingoapp click next and root until the proces is complete.
5 - And you have rooted your device.
